SYNOPSIS
Orpheus and Eurydice.
The eternal myth revisited in a modern key.
Orpheus, the ancient bard, is here transformed into a modern Dionysus, a god of rock. Not only a poet and a singer, then, but also a symbol, an icon idolized by all his fans that, drunk and delirious as the mythological Bacchae, want to possess him, inspired by orgiastic exaltation.
It is in this world of excess and frenzy that moves our Orpheus, always tempted by extremes and by the idea of overcoming his limits: an obsession that led him to talk directly with death.
Here is a passionate and poignant stage direction, then, where the tragedy of the loss of Eurydice is suspended in a moment; a frozen instant in which a whole life will pass in front the eyes of this young lover who, finding himself in a limbo and hovering between life and death, arduously attempt to save his beloved from the underworld, seeking to remain clinging to the memory of her.
A timeless story, in short: the grief of a tragic love and the impossibility of overcoming it.
